Recently, Nintendo decided to change the format of its magazine. From what I've seen, the changes are all for the good and have convinced me to subscribe again. If you're tired of fishing through the other gaming magazines for the half page blurb about Nintendo, get the new Nintendo Power.

New Look

The magazine now looks much more like the other video game magazines out there. In the Letters section, Matthew V. wrote in to say how displeased he was with the new look, but I love.

New Content

I noticed there was much less game help and much more "real" content. I like this; if I need help in a game I'd look online for help anyway. The issue I have (second new issue) has a special E3 section that has more Nintendo coverage than Game Informer had all together. It also had an artical about the new Nintendo store, and more. Rather than being pathetic ads for games, the reviews are now full page length, and much more objective. I noticed several bad games get bad scores. I love it.

DVD Special

The magazine game with a DVD full of video clips from upcoming games.
